Accessibility Statement
Last updated:
reconosint is committed to making our website and product usable for everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
Current status
Most of the Service substantially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are working through a published remediation plan to close remaining gaps. Items currently in progress include:
- Form-error association via
aria-invalidandaria-describedbyon authentication forms. - Global polite/assertive live regions for status messages and submission errors.
- Adding visible text labels to score and confidence indicators that previously relied on color alone.
- Table semantics (captions, scoped headers) across dashboard and evidence tables.
- Tagged-PDF output for profile exports.
- Automated accessibility checks in our continuous-integration pipeline.
What we already do
- Skip-to-main link as the first focusable element on the landing page.
- Respect for the
prefers-reduced-motionmedia query. - Keyboard focus management in modal dialogs, including focus trap and Escape-to-close.
- Color contrast meeting at least 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and UI components.
- Use of accessible-by-default UI primitives (Radix UI) for menus, dialogs, and tabs.
Report an issue
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on reconosint, please tell us so we can fix it. Email accessibility@reconosint.ai with:
- A description of the issue;
- The page URL where you encountered it;
- The assistive technology and browser you were using, if applicable.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 14 days and to provide a remediation timeline (or, where the issue is straightforward, a fix) at the same time.
